Short Bio:

Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Howard University, Washington, DC, USA. Before joining Howard, he was an Assistant Professor at Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia, USA. Dr. Ahmed worked as a Wireless Systems Engineer at Intel Corporation in San Diego, California, USA before moving to academia. 

Dr. Ahmed works in the areas of wireless communications, signal processing, and computer networks. His current research focuses on design and analysis of current and next generation of cellular communication systems.

Dr. Ahmed obtained his PhD from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada and received postdoctoral training at McGill University and INRS at Montreal, QC, Canada.
